Microsoft has reported users may have issues accessing Microsoft 365 services.

Incident information
Title: Can’t access Microsoft 365 services. Status Service Restored Details Title: Can’t access Microsoft 365 services. User Impact: Users may be unable to access multiple Microsoft 365 services. More info: As a workaround, users may be able to change their DNS provider to mitigate impact. Current status: We’ve identified a potential third-party DNS issue that may be the cause of impact. We’re analyzing network telemetry to further isolate the source of impact. Scope of impact: Any user routed through the affected infrastructure may be affected. Root cause: A third-party DNS issue is potentially preventing users from accessing Microsoft 365 services. Next update by: Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at 10:00 AM UTC End time: Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at 11:00 AM UTC Preliminary root cause: A potential third-party DNS issue was preventing users from accessing Microsoft 365 services. Further investigations are ongoing and we will provide more information within the post-incident report. Next steps: – We’re working with a third-party DNS provider to further investigate the issue. – We’re reviewing our network infrastructure to determine the underlying cause.
