Hey, it’s our birthday!

We’re celebrating our fourth birthday today by taking a look back on the past year.

It’s been a challenging twelve months for many businesses across the UK and, indeed, the world. But we’re so encouraged to see how resilient our customers’ businesses have been with the right IT support to help them throughout the year of lockdowns.

The year has seen good growth for Calder IT; we’re thankful that all of the customers who were with us when we celebrated our third birthday are all still with us today, along with some new faces.

There were many high points to the year, despite its difficult moments:

• We welcomed our apprentice Harry into the team in March 2020
• We were nominated for the Leeds Region Digital Enterprise 100 awards
• We secured three large IT projects to deliver improved efficiency and security for a company in Scotland.

Our focus for the next twelve months will be to help more businesses improve IT efficiency and help our customers be more profitable whilst remaining security-aware.

Internally we’re looking to achieve ISO 27001 certification, a refresh of our website and improvements to our internal systems.
